Raf Simons, creative director of Dior, has transformed the Musée Rodin in an enchanted garden.
The Fall Winter 2015/2016 Haute Couture fashion show was held in a grand glass structure embellished with geometric slabs of different sizes and hand-painted with flowers and colors that evoked Impressionism.
The designer was inspired by the “Garden of Earthly Delights” by Bosch, he has enjoyed playing with the floral pattern and made this romantic collection, surprising.
On the catwalk the clothes are almost monastic, their lines recall the belle époque.
The capes are asymmetrical with high wrists, full skirts, long dresses with a dotted print, all so simple.
Disarmingly simple but capable of creating an overwhelming elegance.
In Dior’s garden jewelry are chainmail that are worn over the clothes as a medieval vest.
Among the guests: Bianca Jagger, Emily Blunt, Lupita Nyong’o, Natalia Vodianova, Olivia Palermo, Peter Marino, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
